Aviation is probably my most favorite hobby. For years I flew glider airplanes, tried hang gliding and recently got my P2 certification in paragliding. I also like to build and fly remote control airplanes and kites.

| Launching the 11" box kite. It has enormous power and I use it to lift a camera into the air. For more info on kite arial photography visit the web pages of Berkeley Professor Charles C. Benton | The kite is already in the air. The small black dot is the camera. Gloves are a must to be able to hadle this kite. | Setting up the picavet suspension, that keeps the camera vertical and supresses camera shaking. | Arial photo taken in La Paz Mexico at the Sea of Cortez. The line of the kite is clearly visible |
